Hey everyone,
My name is Arihant, I go by Ari its just easier on everyone, I am currently 3 classes away from graduating with my masters in Computer Science. However, I did my bachelors in Microbiology and worked for 1 year in a hospital laboratory before transitioning to computer science. I have been learning how to code since the end of 2023 and would consider myself to be pretty competent now for someone with no previous background in the field.
I joined this website because my masters program is online so its a bit difficult to make friends/groups outside of our zoom classes especially since I am a minority in the Masters program considering my background and the fact that I am in my mid 20s, not married, and not working full time while doing school.
So I was hoping if anyone else can relate to my situation where they either cannot find other people or maybe its just something that interests you. But I would like a few like minded people to form a group with me so that we could all meet up and work on an opensource project we make together preferably in C#.
People I am looking for:
Being able to speak and write in English fluently is mandatory
Know the foundations of coding, no need to be a master or anything
Know the basics of either Java or C#
Know how to implement Microservices
Be willing to participate and learn as needed
