Super Meat Boy 3D takes the frantic precision of the original into the third dimension with satisfyingly snappy controls and a dazzling visual upgrade. Jean-Luc’s hands-on preview praises its tight core gameplay loop and playful level design, proving that the meat cube’s perilous parkour still shines in 3D.
That said, it doesn’t quite capture the razor-sharp perfection that made the 2D classic legendary. Between occasional camera hiccups and a few less-polished platforming moments, this new take is fun—but it’s not yet the flawless, heart-stopping rush longtime fans remember.
